Ingredients
8 medium shrimp
1 tablespoons Weber’s Classic Barbecue Rub
(one packet)
4 teaspoons Olive Oil
6 ounces Weber’s Smokey Joe Hickory Barbecue Sauce (Or your favorite Sauce)
3 bamboo skewers (soaked in water)
Instructions
Preheat grill and set it for indirect cooking method.
Set up skewers with two shrimps per bamboo skewer. Hint: Soak bamboo skewers in water prior to putting on the shrimp. This will help prevent splintering and the wood burning.
Season the shrimp with Weber’s Classic Barbecue Rub, by rubbing each shrimp. Brush each skewered shrimp with olive oil.
Grill shrimp over direct heat for one minute per side. Finish grilling using indirect heat for five minutes. (Total cooking time is dependent on the size of the shrimp.)
Baste with Smokey Joe Hickory Barbecue Sauce or your favorite bottled or home-made sauce.
Remove from heat and serve.
Makes 4 appetizer servings.
